The Payaso Boracho is a series that confronts the fears, vices, and insecurities that I have dealt with and
continue to deal with in my life. In the beginning stages of the paintings, I started inebriated in my art studio not knowing the outcome the next day. Using acrylic paint on canvas each step and layer was reflected by my emotions on that day. As the works progressed I have realized that each piece began in fear and confusion.
The results of the paintings are a tearful release or a hopeful smile.
